Welcome to Curaçao!

Imagine a place where European architecture and charm are nestled among a pastel hued capital and surrounded by blue Caribbean waters and sky....

This is Curaçao!

Willemstad

Curaçao's capital city Willemstad is a pearl in the Caribbean, a little Amsterdam in tropical colors! A worthy addition to the world heritage list of UNESCO for over ten years! The oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere in continuous use is right in the middle of the quaint down-town, just around the corner of one of the most striking fortresses in the region, which is currently the gouvernor's palace. Take a stroll across the 150 year old pontoon bridge, dubbed the 'Swinging Old Lady', to do some shopping in the Riffort Village mall on the harbor entrance, or to visit the impressive Kura Hulanda Museum.

Beaches

Over sixty small beaches are scattered along the south coast of the island, each with its own identity and atmosphere. One thing they all have in common; their crystal clear azure water, beautiful coral formations and colorful fishes that make it ideal for snorkeling or scuba-diving. With the average water temperature being 80° F (27° C) it is almost impossible to stay dry!

Nightlife

While most hotels have their own casinos and bars, there is plenty to do off-property in the evening. See our 'Restaurant' section for some dining suggestions, or visit on of the many bars in town. Each night the party is elsewhere. Barefeet clubbing on the beach? On Curaçao anything is possible!
