In 2003, entrepreneur Remco Ernandes started the Destination Management Company ‘Explore Curacao’. The company quickly grew to become the most renowned DMC in Curacao and works with the largest International Meeting planners and Hotels. In 2007 ‘Explore International Inc.’ was started. The new company took over the International part of ‘Explore Curacao’ meaning the MICE and FIT department, while ‘Explore Curacao’ is mainly focused on the local part of the business.
